Welcome to St Francis Catholic Primary School

Welcome to St Francis Catholic Primary School, a warm and inclusive school community in the heart of Maidstone.

For many years, St Francis has served local families as a Catholic primary school within the Archdiocese of Southwark, with faith, learning and care at the heart of school life. Our mission — “A Community Growing in Love for Learning and Life – Rooted in God’s Love” — reflects our commitment to developing the whole child through joy, trust, respect and faith.

Our school has a rich and diverse community where every child is valued for their individual gifts, talents and potential. We aim to provide an ambitious, nurturing and inclusive education in which children feel safe, supported and inspired to flourish.

In September 2026, St Francis began an exciting new chapter by joining Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership (KCSP). This strengthens our opportunities to collaborate with other Catholic schools while preserving the distinctive identity, values and community that make St Francis special.

We are proud of our strong parish links, our Catholic life and worship, our commitment to high-quality learning and our wider opportunities for pupils to grow in confidence, character and independence.

Whether you are an existing family, considering St Francis for your child, or simply finding out more about our school, we hope you enjoy exploring our website and discovering what makes our community so special.
