Catholic Life

We are proud to belong to St Francis Parish, Maidstone, where we celebrate Whole School Masses and Liturgies with the children, both in Church and in school. Use the menu on the right to find out more.

Our Year 3 children led a beautiful Marian Mass with Canon Liam to celebrate Our Lady in the special month of May. They made and picked flowers so that we could crown our statue of Our Holy Mother.

Our Year 5 classes worked incredibly hard during Lent to rehearse and perform an incredibly moving recreation of the Stations of the Cross. Their performance was a powerful reminder of the true meaning of Easter and the love that our Father has for us all.

The 20th March was a very special day here at St Francis. As part of the Jubilee Year of Hope, we received the Diocesan Jubilee Candle from St Simon Stock school, we then welcomed Mrs Whittle and Mrs Burford from KCSP to St Francis to join us in a special Jubilee service.

The Jubilee Year of 2025, as announced by Pope Francis, is a landmark moment in the life of the global church. At St Francis Catholic Primary School we are answering the call to be 'Pilgrims of Hope' and are finding ways to join together within our local and global family to work together for God’s kingdom of justice, peace and love.
