Good Morning,

School is open again today. The main roads are moving quite well however the side roads and pavements remain very slippery and difficult. Please only come to school if you feel safe doing so. There will be no consequence for non-attendance this week. If you would like to leave arrival until later in the day when more traffic has helped warm up the roads and pavements and softened ice and compacted snow that is fine, there will be no lates today. At the moment I believe we will have hot meals from the catering company, if that changes I will let you know.

The children's parties will go ahead today, however please don't worry if you think your child will miss out, due to the small numbers of children at school at the moment we will ensure we celebrate the New Year with a party for all the children next term. Uniform isn't necessary but please wear something warm and wear some good, sturdy shoes for walking in the snow and ice.

Please do not attempt to come onto the school site, we have managed to clear a small section of the car park, but it is accessible only to staff who need to come into school.
