Upcoming Dates
The end of November is a busy one, some events and deadlines to keep in mind.
- Tuesday 29th November, between 9.15am - 10.15am, there will be a stay and play session for EYFS. We are hopeful that many parents will be able to stay and see what goes on in the Reception classrooms.
- On Wednesday 30th November, the school will be holding an Open Afternoon for Prospective Parents wishing to send their child to St Francis in September 2023. The event will take place between 1 - 3pm so please spread the word to any friends who have any child due to start school next year and invite them to attend and see our wonderful school.
- Also, Wednesday 30th November, is the deadline for submitting your sponsorship money for the recent Children In Need events that took place in school. Shake down those parents/family members children and collect in the sponsorship money you worked so hard for. Money should be in a named envelope and please write Children in Need on. Envelopes can be brought into school via book bags or directly to the School Office.
- Can I also take this opportunity to remind all parents that St Francis is a nut-free school. That means that no child should be bringing nuts, of any kind, into school and that also includes, peanut butter and hazelnut chocolate spread in sandwiches. We are extremely grateful to parents who bake cakes for our Cake sales - but can we ask please that parents ensure that they bake without using nut products as we wish to ensure the safety of all children who purchase cakes from these sales.
