Today our morning was a bit special.
Our parents came to school to write with us and in some cases we could write whatever we wanted.
Diary extracts, poems, letters and stories.

We were very lucky to have not one but two live authors in the building this week. Some of the younger members of the school were treated to a reading and question and answer session from Rose Mannering. She read us her book Spotty Dotty Daffodil and happily answered the children’s questions which they were very enthuastic to ask.

They came as Roald Dahl, Jacqueline Wilson, J L Rowling to name a few as well as nurses, doctors, dentists, teachers, singer song writers, professors, lawyers, news reporters and even Ofsted inspectors! The children said, “It was great fun to participate in all the activities.”
