About the Friends
As a parent/ guardian, grandparent, other family member, teacher, member of support staff, governor or other member of the school community, you are automatically considered to be a member of “The Friends of St Francis”. “The Friends” operate as a PTA would do; operating under a Friends banner just enables more people to be involved. “The Friends” are represented by a Committee who are elected at an AGM. The Friends of St Francis Committee
Kylie has a daughter in year four and a son in EYFS.
Ellen has two sons at the school, one in year four and one in EYFS.
Hannah has daughters in years five and six
Alison has a daughter in year three and a son in year one.
Tracey has daughters in year 5.
Sharon has a daughter at the school in year one.
Aims of the Friends
As per our constitution our aims are as follows…
- to promote close co-operation and communication between parents and teachers
- to study and discuss matters of mutual interest relating to the education and welfare of pupils
- to engage in activities which advance the education of pupils attending the school and support the staff in their teaching.
